I’ve a plan

To be honest, I’ve been MIA for a long time here on WordPress. Started this blog with the intentions to keep my sanity as well as tracking my motherhood goals (if any to begin with). It’s like having resolutions at the beginning of each year but reviewing them with nothing accomplished at the end of the year. Okay, enough negativity. Hush. I can do this. I can and I will. Watch me.

And so, time really flies. People say that all the time but you’d only realise it yourself when you’re missing the good old times and/or dreading what’s to come. My stay-at-home stint is coming to an end very soon as I head back to my full-time job. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate my job. But the thought of waking before the sun rises and a whole day of mad rush before the day repeats itself for another 4 is not welcoming. I don’t get to Netflix and chill at the end of the day coz … ‘chores’ and ‘mom duties’. I love both my boys, but not the chores that come along with them.

I’ve a plan. And to make sure it works, I’m sharing this here on my blog. Not that I have many followers to be accountable for but more so for myself.

Declutter, Minimise, Simplify

I’m sure you’ve heard of Marie Kondo’s magical skills of decluttering and organisation. No, I’ve not read the book, simply a few articles that reviewed the book. And I can’t pick up my blouse to ask myself if it sparks joy either. But I do enjoy packing and tidying up.

Also, if it all works out, chores may be greatly reduced if I’ve lesser items and more organised storage methods around the house. I’ve started decluttering in phases using tiny pockets of time while my boy naps.

I can and I will. Watch me. 😉

Will update my progress here.
